Life from Life Eternal
$850.00
The tree that dropped the limb used to craft this instrument stood within a central Texas grove of juniper undifferentiated by form; however, no two juniper trees stood alike. Each branch grasped toward breaks in the canopy, a steady unfurling that bore out the character of the individual. Beneath the bark, the colors, hues, and textures share a form with wood grain found within all other junipers, but the story the individual grain tells never repeats. Without individuation, the transmutation of life force remains continuous and indistinct; what does not repeat reveals the emergence of life from life eternal.
