Attacks Withstood

Trees heal. The pecan we used to create this didgeridoo is no exception. Evidently, striking blows tore into the trunk causing bulbous outgrowths that eventually covered over, and scars revealed only as we removed the bark. As with most injuries, evidence remains of attacks withstood, lending to the bearer then dignity, now beauty.
